Shawnee, KS (PRWEB) May 20, 2015
The Identification Systems Group (ISG), the nationwide network of local identification system integrators, announces its Financial EMV certification program. The certification program is called IFCC, which stands for ISG Financial Card Certification. The result of this certification program is a more highly educated representative that can assist financial institutions with navigating the complex EMV landscape.
EMV stands for Europay, MasterCard & Visa, and is the global standard for financial smart card transactions. While the majority of the world has already adopted EMV smart card technology, financial institutions in the U.S. are only now rapidly moving toward issuing EMV cards. Prompting this movement, MasterCard and Visa announced liability shift dates of October 2015.
The ISG has responded to this high level of activity by creating the IFCC program for its dealer Members. All 200+ sales people are eligible to take this in-depth course and complete the test for certification. ISG dealer Members can provide expert, on-site consultation to financial institutions. The product offerings include preprinted financial card stock, central issuance card systems, and instant issuance card systems.
“This is just one more way the ISG is helping our Membership educate and assist their customers in making the best decisions possible,” said Tom Stiles, ISG executive director. “We are pleased to offer such an in-depth certification program to our members with more on the horizon.”
