The ISG Announces Donation to Joy Junction

The ISG donates more than $16,000 to a charity that provides food and shelter for the homeless and needy in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Shawnee, KS (PRWEB) May 10, 2012

The Identification Systems Group (ISG), the nationwide network of local identification system integrators, announces its donation to Joy Junction in Albuquerque, NM. The ISG donated more than $16,000 to Joy Junction from its Fifth Annual Charity Golf and Auction event in Santa Ana, NM on April 17, 2012.

Joy Junction is a place of refuge to those who have been forced into the streets. They are a nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to helping homeless men, women, children, and families in Albuquerque by providing food, clothing, shelter, and safety.

Each year Joy Junction is able to serve almost 200,000 meals thanks to the generous contributions of citizens and businesses throughout the city. Joy Junction wants to be the Hand Up for the homeless in Albuquerque. They don’t consider the charity actions a handout; they give people the Hand Up they need-mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually-to return to employment and mainstream society.

Joy Junction Founder and CEO Dr. Jeremy Reynalds said, “I am so appreciative of this extremely generous donation. It is wonderful that as the ISG visits cities yearly they contribute so generously to a local charity.”

The ISG event team led by Danielle Jorgensen worked with Joy Junction personnel and solicited auction items and cash donations from its Members and Partners. Danielle Jorgensen (ISG Marketing Manager), Bill Scott (Data Equipment), Tom Stiles (ISG Operation Manager), and Roger Sigler (ISG Executive Director) comprised the ISG event team.

“The ISG wishes to thank its Members and authorized Partners for their contributions to the success of this golf tournament and auction,” said Roger Sigler, ISG executive director. “We are very pleased to contribute to this wonderful charity and look forward to another successful event next year.”
