The ISG Announces Donation to Camp Boggy Creek

The ISG donated more than $20,000 to a charity that provides camping experiences to children with chronic or life-threatening illnesses.

Shawnee, KS (PRWEB) May 6, 2011

The Identification Systems Group (ISG), the nationwide network of local identification system integrators, announces its donation to Camp Boggy Creek for Kids in Eustis, Florida. The ISG donated more than $20,000 to Camp Boggy Creek from its Fourth Annual Charity Golf and Auction event in Orlando, FL on April 14, 2011.

Camp Boggy Creek is a year round camp serving seriously ill children throughout Florida. They offer week-long summer sessions for the children and family retreat weekends for the whole family. There is no charge to come to Camp so they rely on the generous support of individuals, corporations, foundations and healthcare partners. The Mission of Camp Boggy Creek is to enrich the lives of children who have chronic or life threatening illnesses by creating camping experiences that are memorable, exciting, fun, empowering, physically safe and medically sound.

RJ is a camper at Camp Boggy Creek and was also a speaker at the Fourth Annual ISG Charity Event. The ISG not only provides funding for charities throughout the US, but experiences. After a call with Jordan Shipley from the Cincinnati Bengals NFL Team, RJ was quoted as saying “This is the best night of my life!”

The ISG event team led by Danielle Jorgensen worked with Camp Boggy Creek personnel and solicited auction items and cash donations from its Members and Partners. Danielle Jorgensen (ISG Marketing Manager), Bill Scott (Data Equipment), Tom Stiles (ISG Operation Manager), Julie Williams (Armstrong Systems), Charlia Pence (Diamond Business), and Roger Sigler (ISG Executive Director) comprised the ISG event team.

“The ISG wishes to thank its Members and authorized Partners for their contributions to the success of this golf tournament and auction,” said Roger Sigler, ISG executive director. “We are very pleased to contribute to this wonderful children’s charity and look forward to another successful event next year.”
